Suprising support

ok we have a some volunteers signing up :) this is great.
we've finished our proposal and as soon as raya is finished we're planning to see our first referee, Prof Ridzwan, to pitch our project and hopefully he will approve and write a glowing reference for us. Our second referee, she's not in KK or Sandakan so we're going to email her the proposal before the end of this week :) i still dont know who our 3rd ref is gonna be but we'll figure this out asap.

we're not sure how long until we can get this funding, but in the mean time we can all practice identifying marine life in Sabah. you dont have to dive to do this. just jump into the ocean with your snorkeling gear & have fun finding fishes! also, there will be a Reef Check training program sometime in April 2008 in Semenanjung Malaysia (they havent decided on where yet) . you will be certified to perform Reef Check survey and your data will be accepted by the Reef Check people :)
